IPS Pre-Congress Training Program

We are thrilled to announce that the application process for the IPS Pre-Congress Training Program is now open : the form is available here. The deadline for applications is Monday July 29th, 2024 and applicants will be informed of the results by the end of September 2024.

The PCTP-IPS 2025 will take place in Madagascar from the 2nd-9th August 2025. All successful applicants will then have the opportunity to attend the XXX Congress of the International Primatological Society which will be held in Antananarivo, Madagascar after the PCTP program.

Eligibility criteria:

· Must be citizens of primate habitat countries

· Must be actively working with (or studying) primate species in their country

· Must be relatively “new” in their careers (although no age limit is imposed)

· Cannot have attended a previous IPS PCTP

· Must have good enough level of English to follow training programme which will be delivered in English
